My name is Andy Weed and I am running for Mayor of Mission Hills. For over 25 years, I have had the privilege as a neighbor, a volunteer, and a civic leader to serve in a number of capacities from President of the City Council, President of a Homes Association, to Chair of the Planning Commission, along with several other volunteer committees. I have worked alongside our neighbors and City Staff and professional partners such as Police and Fire to preserve and protect the character of our community, all the while keeping a thoughtful eye on our future. I believe this hands-on experience and commitment to Mission Hills puts me in a unique position to lead our City as we grow, adapt, and prepare for the future.

EXPERIENCE
For more than 25 years, I have been serving our community through a wide variety of volunteer and elected positions. These opportunities within our community have provided me with a solid understanding of the way our City functions, we plan and budget for our future, and how we maximize our opportunities as they become apparent.
LEADERSHIP
I have a successful track record of a proven servant leader in Mission Hills. This success is the result of a collaborative approach to finding solutions to the many issues facing the City where I listen carefully to the perspectives of all interested parties and work to find some common ground.
SERVICE
To be a successful leader, one must first serve. My service has provided me with a sense of perspective in our larger community and has allowed me to give back to the community that I value so deeply. It's not so much about the power we hold than the people we serve.
